Finished in the very attractive Meteorite Silver Metallic, the car has covered approximately 60’000 miles (the car had a documented speedo change at circa 14'000 miles) from new and is in excellent condition throughout.

It has a good service history along including many paper invoices and receipts with all the original handbooks/wallet as well as 2 keys.

The bodywork is almost completely rust and dent free and has a lovely deep shine to the lovely silver paintwork. The panels are very straight and only the very very merest of minor age related marks are present. Nothing at all that detracts from its superb overall presentation.

Inside the car is also excellent and is the lovely combination of oatmeal leather with contasting cream/black trim and dark wood cappings. Together with the silver bodywork it makes a very attractive combination. The headlining is in perfect condition so there is none of the usual 'sagging' to worry about.

The car wears its original Jaguar 17" Celtic alloys that are in great condition and all shod with quality tyres.

On the road the car performs faultlessly, just as you expect given its low mileage and service history. The Jaguar starts on the button, has ample power from the excellent V8 and is effortless to drive thanks to the smooth changing auto ‘box with added sport function and the legendary XJ suspension which is free from any undue noises and offers an excellent ride. It is a lovely car to drive and an excellent relaxed cruising car.

The car has an excellent specification as you would expect from a car of this type and its comfort and functionality are easily on a par with much more modern vehicles.

We have used the car as a demonstrator vehicle for our Headliner Repair business and it is fitted with a gorgeous silver grey alcantara headliner, along with matching roof console and sun-visors!
