Finished in Quartz Grey metallic the car has covered just 51’000 miles from new and is in beautiful condition. It has had just 2 previous owners, the last, an enthusiast having owned the car for 20 years.
The bodywork is completely rust and dent free and has a lovely deep shine to the paint which appears almost completely original, the panels are super straight and only the merest minor marks could be found under very close inspection. Nothing that detracts from its excellent overall presentation. The chrome and bright work is perfect. It is one of the nicest most original X300 Jaguars you will see.
Inside the car is also immaculate and is a lovely combination of cream leather with oatmeal carpets and walnut trim together with cream/ mushroom dashboard and door cards. A very attractive combination. The headliner is a new replacement.
The car wears its original Jaguar 'Dimple' alloys that are in good condition and are shod in correct spec Pirelli tyres.
On the road the car performs faultlessly, just as you expect given its low mileage and excellent condition. The Jaguar starts on the button, has ample power from the excellent 'AJ16' straight 6 and is effortless to drive thanks to the smooth changing auto ‘box and the legendary XJ suspension which is free from any undue noises and offers an excellent ride.
All the original features remain apart from the original radio which has been replaced with a modern unit.
The car comes with 2 keys and key fobs, all book packs/ wallet along with some early history including an almost flawless MOT history. In its most recent ownership, the car has been serviced annually by an independent garage. We will service the car again at sale.
