The bodywork is very very good and has a lovely deep shine to the paint which appears to be mostly the original, the panels are nice and straight and only the merest age commensurate marks could be found under very close inspection. Nothing that detracts from its excellent overall presentation. The chrome and bright work are also very good. It is one of the nicest most original X300 Jaguars you will see.

Inside the car is almost immaculate and is a lovely combination of cream leather with oatmeal carpets and walnut wood trim together with cream/mushroom dashboard and door cards. A very attractive combination.

The car wears its original Jaguar 'Dimple' alloys are all in excellent order with no major damage or kerbing. All tyres have excellent tread and there is a full size spare.

On the road the car performs faultlessly, just as you expect given its low mileage and excellent service history. The Jaguar starts on the button, has ample power from the excellent 'AJ16' straight 6 and is effortless to drive. The gearbox is smooth and precise in operation and it really helps the car a deliver a lovely relaxed driving experience . The legendary XJ suspension is free from any undue noises/clunks/bumps and still offers that famous Jaguar XJ ride.
