Number 30 of just 100 cars built by Jaguar to celebrate the marque's win at the Le Mans 24 hour race in 1988.



Finished in Gun Metal Grey metallic and with just 76’000 miles the car is in a superb all round condition.

The bodywork is rust free, panels are arrow straight and with an excellent paint finish and the car presents wonderfully. It really is a very attractive car with great presence and is probably one of the best XJR-S' on the market at this time and likely the only 'Le Mans' celebration build.



The Doeskin leather interior, piped in grey is also in excellent condition with virtually no wear. The leather seats, carpets and headliner are all in excellent condition. The wood cappings will be replaced with new. The switchgear and interior equipment all function correctly and are free from any wear/damage. The original 'Celebration' sill kick plates remain showing the vehicle build number.



The car wears its original Speedline 'Sport' alloy wheels that are in super condition with no kerb damage or corrosion and are shod with correct Pirelli tyres.



The bright work and chrome work are excellent.



Under the bonnet, lies the legendary 5.3 V12 Jaguar engine. It is clean, with no visible coolant or fluid leaks, all original and very nicely presented.

On the road the XJS performs faultlessly, starts 1st time with no smoke, has plenty of power, delivered just as you would expect from the legendary Jaguar engine. The auto box is smooth and changes without hesitation. The ride is classic Jaguar, there are no noticeable rattles or clunks from the suspension and on test drive the car was a joy.



The car comes with an excellent history including all wallet and book packs. There are 22 service stamps in the book, along with many paper invoices and receipts for repair and maintenance. There is the special matching Doeskin/piped grey XJR-S document wallet and 2 sets of keys. The car has had 5 owners in its 32 years.
